Afiya Kargbo

My name is Afiya Kargbo, and I study Sports Studies. Horses have been an incredibly important part of my life for as long as I can remember. For me, everything revolves around the bond with my horses, their wellbeing, and continuing to grow together, in sport and beyond.

I have two horses who are very special to me. Dear Milord, a 27-year-old Haflinger, is fully enjoying his retirement with turnout, cuddles and of course good food. With my big teddy bear Que Pasa, an 11-year-old Oldenburg, I am building our dressage dreams. We train with lots of love, trust and enjoyment, and we dream of continuously improving and discovering how far we can go together.

Good nutrition plays a major role for me. That is why I consciously choose Hartog Horsefeed. Que Pasa gets Hartog Essential for vitamins and minerals, Hartog Lucerne Plus for extra protein, and Hartog Haycobs as additional forage. Since feeding Hartog, I have really seen a difference in his muscle tone, energy and coat. Hartog Harties are our favourite treat!
