Work-based learning apprentice process operator A

About Hartog

Since 1950, Hartog has specialized in fibre and roughage for horses, poultry, and cattle. From our location in Lambertschaag, we supply our products to riders, stables, and retailers around the world. Within the equestrian industry, Hartog is known as an innovative and dedicated brand.

The company has grown significantly in recent years, and this growth continues. That is why we keep investing in people, processes, and innovation. Within our organization, we offer students the opportunity to develop their skills and actively contribute to our daily operations.

What will you do?

As a work-based learning apprentice, you will combine working and studying: you will attend school one day a week and spend the rest of the week learning the trade through hands-on experience. You will gain insight into how machines, processes, and finished products are connected and learn to understand chemical and physical changes within the production process. You will work in a production environment with modern, automated processes.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice who is eager to learn a trade and has a passion for production processes. You are eager to learn, flexible, and able to adapt quickly. In addition:

  • You are starting or currently enrolled in a work-based learning programme for Process Operator Level 2 (Crebo 25761)

  • You have an interest in technology, processes, and machinery

  • You are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and have a hands-on mentality

  • You work well in a team and are open to feedback

  • You enjoy working in a structured and safe environment

  • You speak at least Dutch or English

What do we offer you?

  • An officially recognized work-based learning position with excellent guidance (our workplace supervisors speak Dutch, English, and/or Polish)

  • A pleasant working atmosphere with friendly colleagues

  • A modern production environment with varied tasks

  • Opportunities for personal growth and professional development

  • The opportunity to grow within the company after obtaining your diploma

  • A varied range of responsibilities within a motivated team

  • Appropriate compensation
