About Matt Harnacke

Matt has built a large online community of horse lovers, with hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram and YouTube. He also founded HorseWorldTV, an online content platform covering a wide range of equestrian topics.

Matt was born in Italy to an Italian mother and a German father. At the age of ten, he moved to Australia with his family. In 2018, Matt moved to the Netherlands together with his beloved gelding Chase. That move kick-started his YouTube career: the video of flying his horse across the world drew a big audience. Matt has since bought more horses and still lives in the Netherlands.

Over the years, Matt has worked with Hartog on several projects, most notably the Hartog Support series. In these videos, Matt and Hartog nutritionist Maartje Reitsma help horse owners with the nutrition of their horses. They visit the owner, discuss the horse or pony’s situation, and the owner receives a detailed feed ration for three months. Hartog started the series with Matt to share its knowledge of horse nutrition with everyday horse owners.

Matt’s own choice of feed

Matt feeds his horses Hartog Condition and Hartog Digest. Hartog Condition is a high-quality pellet with herbs, and Hartog Digest is a fibre-rich roughage mix.
