My name is Eline Borrey De Coninck and I am from Ghent, Belgium. With a great deal of positive drive, patience, discipline, and a healthy dose of self-deprecating humor, I work with my horses every day. My passion started early on. My stepfather had Arabian Thoroughbreds, and as a little girl, I was placed on the back of one of his horses one day. What began as an innocent moment grew into a lifelong obsession. From that moment on, I knew: this is what I want to do.

Today, I run my own dressage stable in Melle, Belgium. My days are filled with training, caring, coaching, and planning. It’s hard work, but when you get to do what you love most every day, it never feels like a sacrifice. At the moment, I have two horses of my own, Haressel and Dollars, and nine horses in training at my stable. We are active in dressage, and this year our focus is on gaining experience at national Grand Prix level with both of my horses. When it comes to horse management, I believe that plenty of turnout and social contact with other horses are essential for their wellbeing.

We have known Hartog for years through using their forage products, but with Dollars we faced a major challenge. Due to his gastric paralysis, it was difficult to find suitable nutrition that he could digest while still performing at a high level. Thanks to Hartog’s products, we are able to perfectly meet his forage and nutritional needs.

I use Hartog Daily, Hartog Comfort, Hartog Digest, Hartog Haycobs, and Hartog Lucerne Pellets, among others. For Dollars, these products are ideal because he cannot digest long forage fibres, yet he still receives sufficient fibre, vitamins, and minerals. I also notice that all the horses benefit from receiving more forage and less starch and sugar. Since we started feeding Hartog, the horses visibly look better and remain super fit.

As an ambassador, I want to challenge the misconception that sport horses need large amounts of muesli or concentrates to perform. I believe that too many horses still receive excessive sugar and starch, which can harm their health in the long term. That is why I enjoy sharing my experiences.

On social media — mainly Facebook and Instagram — I share a mix of videos and photos. My message is simple: keep it simple, be patient, and observe your horse as much as possible. I inspire others by simply being myself — including the occasional spontaneous karaoke moment in the stable, because yes, I’m always up for that.

[54,58
52
post-29406","ambassadors","type-ambassadors","status-publish","hentry","ambassadors-type-dressage","ambassadors-type-influencer","country-netherlands

Eline Borrey De Coninck -
