I am married to Tineke and together we have three daughters: Evi, Sofie and Nina.

Horses and equestrian sport have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a very horse-oriented family: my father was a show jumper and later became a jumping judge together with my mother, while my brother and sisters were also active in the sport. I started riding when I was just four years old, and I am very happy that I can now share this passion with my daughters.

Besides the horses, I run a hair salon in ’s-Hertogenbosch with a team of twelve employees. Combining my work with equestrian sport can be challenging at times, but for us, horses are truly a family passion.

At home, we currently have six dressage horses: three young horses in training and three competition horses at a higher level. Over the years, we have competed at many Dutch, Belgian and European Championships. Some of our most special memories are the European Championships, where all three of our daughters have competed successfully.

I have also ridden several horses at Grand Prix level. At the moment, I have another horse competing at Grand Prix level, with the goal of competing internationally in the future. Our ambition is to reach the highest possible level in the sport, while always keeping the wellbeing of our horses as our main priority.

Our horses spend many hours outside in the fields and paddocks, and we usually train around four times a week with rest days in between. We believe that good management, sufficient rest and the right nutrition are essential for keeping our horses healthy, happy and performing at their best.

When it comes to nutrition, we are very grateful for the support we receive from Hartog. We are big fans of the products because they help our horses look and feel their best. We currently feed Hartog Comfort, Hartog Daily, Hartog Lucerne Pellets, Hartog Strength and Hartog Condition.

The personalised feeding advice from Hartog has also been very valuable to us, as it means every horse receives nutrition that suits its individual needs. Hartog Comfort is one of my personal favourites. It is a unique, fibre-rich forage mix that provides important vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Because the horses take longer to eat it, they chew more and produce more saliva, which can also support healthy stomach function.

Being a Hartog ambassador means a lot to me. We are incredibly thankful to be part of the Hartog family and proud to represent the brand. We hope to remain part of this team for many years to come and look forward to everything the future will bring.

[54,58
52
post-29396","ambassadors","type-ambassadors","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","ambassadors-type-dressage","ambassadors-type-influencer","country-netherlands
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.5 -
