Machine Operator

We are looking for a driven colleague with a down-to-earth North Holland mentality. You have a passion for production, enjoy taking on challenges and want to grow together with the organisation. As a Machine Operator, you will carry out various activities within our factory.

Working at Hartog?

Hartog is a producer of high-quality, fibre-rich animal feed for horses and other animals. For more than 70 years, we have been carefully selecting and processing roughage.

From our production location in Lambertschaag, we produce various roughage products forcustomers in the Netherlands and abroad. Quality, full control over the production process and the continuous improvement and development of our products are central to everything we do.

What will you do?

As a Machine Operator at Hartog, you will work in a factory environment on a daily basis.You operate, set up, check and convert machines. You solve minor malfunctions and involve the technical service department in the event of larger problems.

You ensure that the machines operate efficiently and meet the required quality standards.It is therefore important that you work accurately and carefully.

Your activities include:

• Operating and converting machines according to established procedures and guidelines;
• Carrying out minor repairs;
• Checking the quality of the products produced and carrying out quality checks during the production process;
• Carrying out preventive maintenance on the machines and resolving minor malfunctions;
• Reporting deviations or problems to the supervisor;
• Working according to the applicable safety regulations and procedures;
• Working together with other team members to ensure a smooth production process;
• Driving a forklift to transport produced products to the storage area.

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who speaks the language of our organisation:feet firmly on the ground and ready to roll up your sleeves. You have a passion for production processes and for producing high-quality products.

You are able to switch quickly and ensure that the production process runs smoothly.You enjoy being physically active during your work. At the end of your shift, you hand over the work to your colleague.

Furthermore:

• You have experience in a production environment;
• You have technical insight and are skilled at solving problems;
• You strive for quality and try to prevent mistakes as much as possible;
• You have good communication skills;
• You are proactive and flexible;
• You are willing to work in a 3-shift system;
• An education in engineering or mechanical engineering is an advantage;
• You speak at least Dutch or English.
