Hartog Comfort is an all-in-one product that eliminates the need for concentrates and balancers. With Hartog Comfort, you naturally provide your horse with all the necessary vitamins, minerals, and trace elements it needs daily.

Hartog Comfort is a unique fiber-rich forage mix that includes a balancer. The forage mix is based on artificially dried grass and contains not only a balancer but also lupine, peas, and carrot flakes. Pea and lupine flakes are rich in high-quality proteins and healthy fats.

The daily (basic) requirement of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements for a horse (600 kg) is already covered with 1 kg of Hartog Comfort. The vitamin E and biotin content have been increased to provide extra support for your horse. Biotin is important for good hoof health, and vitamin E is a crucial antioxidant. Additionally, the trace elements in Hartog Comfort are organically bound.

During the development of Hartog Comfort, extra attention has been paid to palatability. Finally, a healthy feed that horses also find very tasty!

Hartog Comfort is a complete replacement for concentrate feeds or balancers. It is formulated to feed horses in the way that suits them best: based on forage! This feeding approach comes with many advantages such as: - Longer feeding time with Hartog Comfort. - Increased salivation with Hartog Comfort. - Can be fed as the first meal (before hay). - Can be fed before and after riding. - Hartog Comfort has low sugar and starch content. - Feeding Hartog Comfort provides your horse with additional forage. By feeding Hartog Comfort, you supply your horse with all the daily required vitamins, minerals, and trace elements. Additionally, the levels of vitamin E and biotin have been increased to provide optimal support to your horse.
Is Hartog Comfort a complete supplement to roughage?
Yes! Hartog Comfort provides your horse with all the daily required vitamins, minerals, and trace elements, including extra vitamin E and biotin. So, there's no need to feed any additional balancers or concentrate feeds alongside Hartog Comfort. Even the supplementation of vitamin E or biotin is unnecessary! If your horse has increased energy and/or protein needs due to heavy work, it may be necessary to combine Hartog Comfort with something like Hartog Lucerne Pellets. Why has extra vitamin E been added to Hartog Comfort?
Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant that can support horses when they are, for example, recovering, stressed, or undergoing training. Vitamin E levels in hay and forage can fluctuate and be very low, as the vitamin E content quickly decreases after harvesting. Vitamin E has been added to Hartog Comfort to ensure its content. This way, you are not reliant on uncertain values and can be sure that your horse does not have deficiencies in its diet. The vitamin E content in Hartog Comfort is not adjusted to the minimum but to the optimal daily amount. Therefore, you don't need to provide a vitamin E supplement when feeding Hartog Comfort.
