Liz Flood

My name is Liz Flood, and in 2016, I bought my beautiful golden horse, Honey, when she was just a foal. Our journey began at that moment, and since then, we’ve been inseparable. I’m currently 23 years old, while Honey is 7. Together, we make a close-knit team, dedicated to the art of Western riding.

For us, Western riding is much more than just competition. Although we work together to improve our performance in Pleasure, Trail, Horsemanship, and Showmanship, the health and well-being of Honey is always at the top of our priority list. We place great value on both her physical and mental health. This has led us to combine the world of sport with various other fun activities to achieve the perfect balance. What’s special about Honey is that she seems to enjoy everything we do together, making our time together even more special.

In 2019, I earned the honorable title of World Champion, and in 2021, I became European Champion with the horses I was riding at that time. But in my view, this can only be achieved with proper management, where a horse can truly be a horse. Honey is outside every day with her herd, gets unlimited roughage, and, of course, Hartog feed, which I am proudly an ambassador for. Hartog feed has proven to be a valuable contribution to the well-being and performance of my horses, including Honey. It allows us to be at our best and enjoy every ride and adventure. I’ve been feeding Hartog for over 5 years, and I can say from experience that it has a positive impact on the health and performance of my horses.

I’m incredibly excited to represent the Hartog brand and share my experiences with their feed. I look forward to sharing my story and photos with you all.
