Kristýna Navrátilová

My name is Kristýna, and I am from the Czech Republic. I see myself as an ordinary girl who has been lucky enough to live her dream life. Together with my husband, we live in an older but beautiful house in a small village, surrounded by meadows where our horses and other farm animals live.

My love for horses started in childhood. Both my mother and aunt rode, so horses were naturally part of my life from a very young age. Anyone who keeps horses at home knows it is constant work, and combining horses with work or social media can be challenging.

Our horses live in a system that respects their natural needs. They have free access to hay all day, a shelter, and open pastures where they can move freely. Thanks to this setup, they can choose how to spend their time. Our daily work mainly involves cleaning and providing fresh water.

I currently have three horses: two large horses named Montana and Sheron, and a pony named Karma. We mostly enjoy recreational riding in nature. I do not focus on a specific riding discipline but am very interested in natural communication and building a calm, trusting relationship with my horses.

My main goal is to keep improving our communication so that working together brings joy to both me and my horses. One of our proudest moments was completing a challenging forest ride without any bridle — a clear sign of mutual trust.

I discovered the Hartog brand thanks to its combination of high quality and fair pricing. I also appreciate the way Hartog treats its community like one big family. Hartog suits my horses very well, even though they are very different. I have a former show jumping mare, a recreational mare, and a pony, and the feed works for all of them.

At the moment, we use Hartog Balance, Hartog Daily, and Hartog Harties. These products are a regular part of our daily feeding routine. Since feeding Hartog, my horses maintain good muscle condition, balanced energy levels, and overall excellent health.

I am mainly active on Instagram, where I share real, everyday moments from life with horses and farm animals. I show both the joys and challenges of this lifestyle. I want to spread the message that horses are happiest when they have freedom of movement, access to hay or grass all day, and live in a stable herd.

Even though horses do not truly need us, together we can still create something beautiful. Our connection is based on respect, trust, and calm cooperation.

In the future, I look forward to everything life will bring. Our main wish is to stay healthy and happy, and to experience many adventures, whether at home in the meadows or riding through the forest.
