Jos Lansink

Jos Lansink, born in Weerselo.

My passion for horses began in early childhood, as we had ponies on our family farm. I worked at Stal De Wiemselbach and for Zangersheide. In 2004, I started my own business. My greatest successes include a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Barcelona, victory in the World Cup Final, and a gold medal at the World Championships.

In daily life, I ride horses at my stable in Belgium. In addition, I guide the riders who compete on horses for me, both at home and in competitions. I train young talents from the Young Riders Academy and the CHIO Aachen Academy. I also coach professional riders who compete at the highest level.

Horses are my passion, and I have been fortunate enough to turn my hobby into my profession. Together with my team, I aim to develop young horses to a higher level. We follow a step-by-step approach, allowing them to grow gradually in their work. Alongside training sessions and forest rides, all horses receive a few hours of turnout each day. I consider this very important, as it allows them to move freely in the pasture or paddock and remain happy.

At my stable, there are usually around 50 horses. The young horses I have bred myself are raised at our rearing facility. They are backed at around four years old and come to my stable when they are six or seven years old.

Hartog Lucerne is an essential forage product for my horses. The quality is high and consistent. Time and again, I notice its positive effect on the stomach and gut flora. It is a perfect addition to the daily ration. Feeding it makes the horses look better and feel better, which in turn positively influences their performance.
