Glenn Geerts

Equestrian sport was instilled in Glenn from an early age. He is already the third generation active in carriage driving. From a young age, he accompanied his parents and grandfather to competitions; his grandfather competed in four-in-hand driving for twenty years. At home, Glenn was always surrounded by horses, so it did not take long before he took up the reins himself. He has been active in carriage driving since the age of six.

He started with ponies and competed in his first Pony Four-in-Hand World Championship in 2009. A year later, he transitioned to four-in-hand horses. In 2012, he competed in his first World Championship with four horses, and since then he has been a consistent member of the Belgian four-in-hand team.

Since 2017, Glenn has been running his own stable together with his wife, Charlotte. His grandfather pursued what had become a beloved hobby, but Glenn has since taken over.

In addition to training his own team, Glenn also trains horses for other drivers and provides coaching. Since 2017, he has been the national coach of the Swedish driving team, and since 2025 he has also been the trainer of the USEF Development Program (USA). Several drivers have their horses in full-time training with him, including members of the American team.

Glenn’s horses are fed Hartog Lucerne Mix daily, all year round: a fibre-rich feed with a high protein content that supports muscle development. Thanks to its structure, Hartog Lucerne Mix promotes longer chewing time and is easy to combine with concentrates.

“With more than four horses in training, in addition to competitions, I need a feeding program I can truly rely on. Hartog Lucerne Mix fits perfectly into my feeding regime, supports my horses’ condition, and helps them feel comfortable and perform at their best. I highly value the quality and consistency that Hartog provides.”
