Afiya Kargbo

My name is Afiya Kargbo, and I study Sports Studies. Horses have been an incredibly important part of my life for as long as I can remember. For me, everything revolves around the bond with my horses, their wellbeing, and continuing to grow together — both in sport and beyond.

I have two horses who are very special to me. Dear Milord, a 27-year-old Haflinger, is fully enjoying his retirement with turnout, cuddles, and of course good food. With my big teddy bear Que Pasa, an 11-year-old Oldenburg, we are building our dressage dreams together. We train with lots of love, trust, and enjoyment, and we dream of continuously improving and discovering how far we can go together in the dressage sport.

Proper nutrition plays a major role for me. That is why I consciously choose Hartog Horsefeed. Que Pasa receives Essential Balancer for vitamins and minerals, Lucerne Plus for strong muscle development, and Haycobs as additional forage. Since feeding Hartog, I have truly noticed a difference in his muscle tone, energy, coat, and overall health. The Hartog Harties are our favourite healthy treat!
