Sytze van Dellen

My name is Sytze van Dellen. I am 21 years old and live with my parents and sisters in Opende (Groningen) at De Eloma Hoeve.

Here, we breed showjumping horses, raise young horses for third parties, and compete with sport horses from our own breeding as well as for clients. In the mornings, I work for Jur Vrieling in Holwierde, and in the afternoons, I work at home. This combination suits me very well, and I enjoy it every single day.

I think I caught the “horse virus” from my parents and family.

At the moment, I compete at 1.45 m level with several horses, and I also ride horses competing at 1.10 m to 1.35 m level. In addition, we are almost always training young horses at home, which I do together with my sisters.

I came into contact with Hartog through our supplier, Otter Diercompleet in Leek, and I am very happy with this partnership. I want my horses to perform at their best and feel great — and Hartog Horsefeed helps us achieve exactly that. My favourite products are Hartog Energy Muesli and Hartog Digest. I would definitely recommend these products to anyone who wants to get more out of their horse.

My ambition for the future is to compete at the highest level.
